Start-Up, Restructure and Audit of Human Resources Department

Provide coverage in the absence of your Company’s Human Resource professional. Work with on-site staff to coach and develop them to a higher level of competency and effectiveness in all areas of Human Resources.

Development, Implementation and Maintenance of Health, Safety, Security, and Workers' Compensation Programs

Develop, implement and administer programs, plans and policies that provide a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with local, Federal and California legal requirements. Effectively minimize workers compensation injuries, claims and costs. Develop and implement a "company/industry specific" Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP), which includes workplace violence, emergency evacuation plans, workplace inspections, accident investigations, equipment and location specifics and Cal/OSHA required training, documentation and inspections.

Perform Workers Compensation investigations and maintain record keeping, mandatory reporting, transitional work and return to work policies / procedures. All employers are required by OSHA to provide a safe, healthy and secure workplace for their employees.

Employment Law Compliance and Employee / Labor Relations

Develop, implement and administer the workplace relationship between employer and employee, including discrimination and harassment protection, in compliance with California legal requirements.  Develop and implement programs, policies and procedures related to workers compensation and leaves of absence that protect an employee’s right to time off; recruiting, selecting & terminating employees; and required training programs for compliance with State, Federal and local laws and regulations to minimize your legal exposure of labor and employee relations issues.

Compensation, Benefits and Organizational Development

Develop, implement and administer compensation and benefits programs for all employee groups in compliance with California legal requirements, including wage and hour laws.  Administer compensation comparison and analysis to determine if you are offering the best practice incentives and paying too much or too little to attract and retain quality people.

Training in various areas including Sexual and Unlawful Harassment; Diversity and Sensitivity; Violence in the Workplace; and Safety for Cal/OSHA Compliance.
